A commercial park with shopping, banking and medical offices serves the area as well.
There’s a large variety of housing at Holiday Island – golf course homes, houses with great lake or valley views, or cabins tucked away in the woods. Average home prices in Holiday Island are still below $200,000, giving the area appeal to both retirees and families.
 BERRYVILLE offers a welcoming, traditional small-town atmosphere. Its thriving downtown square, extensive parks facilities and impressive Community Center help make it a great family town. Berryville serves as the seat of Carroll County government, and has an economy comprised primarily of farming and light manufacturing. Home prices in the area still average under $150,000.
