Downtown Eurekas Springs       Experience the beauty and charm of Eureka Springs and Carroll County, AR. With stunning natural scenery, four distinct but mild seasons, an affordable cost of living and a diverse population, Northwest Arkansas offers something for everyone. Clear waters, striking rock formations and abundant wildlife become part of your everyday world. And each season will give you more to look forward to - dogwoods blooming in the spring, sparkling lakes and rivers in the summer, scarlet-leaved maples in the fall and soaring bald eagles in the winter. While we enjoy small town life here, the cities of Fayetteville, Rogers and Bentonville, AR as well as Branson, MO are all within an hour’s drive and Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA), just outside of Bentonville, provides commercial airline service to the area.

EUREKA SPRINGS is located in Northwest Arkansas in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The town has a population of approximately 2500, but offers amenities normally found only in larger areas. Victorian cottages tucked into the hillsides, an active arts community and a variety of music festivals combine to create a vibrant, colorful atmosphere. Residents and visitors enjoy charming Bed and Breakfast inns, art galleries, unique shops and award-winning restaurants. Eureka Springs is proud to have been named as a "Top Twenty-five Arts Destination” by American Style magazine and one of its "Dozen Distinctive Destinations" by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

tuliphouse_02 In addition to the historic downtown area, there’s also plenty of outdoor recreation choices – hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, hunting, boating and rock climbing are all popular activities available nearby at Beaver Lake, the White River, Kings River or the Buffalo River.

For housing, Eureka Springs offers contemporary homes and historic Victorians, as well as more secluded homes in the country. Average prices still remain below $200,000, making Eureka Springs a desirable retirement, relocation and vacation home destination.

Waterfall       BEAVER LAKE is the newest lake in the beautiful White River chain. It is 9 miles northwest of Eureka Springs and covers approximately 28,000 acres with nearly 500 miles of picturesque shoreline. Deep, clear waters allow residents and visitors to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and even scuba diving, while spectacular views surprise you around every turn.

Beaver Lake area real estate is among the most desirable in our market, with the average home selling above $300,000, and lake area lots averaging about $100,000

Dogwoods       HOLIDAY ISLAND is a planned community, just north of Eureka Springs on Table Rock Lake. It covers 4500 acres and offers 2 golf courses, 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, mini golf, rec center and walking trails, as well as a nearby marina. A commercial park with shopping, banking and medical offices serves the area as well.

There’s a large variety of housing at Holiday Island – golf course homes, houses with great lake or valley views, or cabins tucked away in the woods. Average home prices in Holiday Island are still below $200,000, giving the area appeal to both retirees and families.

Fall       BERRYVILLE offers a welcoming, traditional small-town atmosphere. Its thriving downtown square, extensive parks facilities and impressive Community Center help make it a great family town. Berryville serves as the seat of Carroll County government, and has an economy comprised primarily of farming and light manufacturing. Home prices in the area still average under $150,000.
