Merry Christmas!
Celebrating at the annual ESCC Board of Realtors Christmas party.

Christmas Party

Christmas Parade
The Century 21 Gold Christmas Tree lit up the night as we paraded through downtown Eureka Springs throwing candy, and hollering “Merry Christmas” to friends and visitors lining the streets.

Bell Ringing!
Century 21 Woodland agents volunteered their time Saturday, December 15th, ringing bells for the Salvation Army. Stationed in front of Hart’s grocery for the day, it was a great way to help the community and also visit with lots of old friends as they took care of weekend shopping. All funds raised in Carroll County remain in the county to benefit local citizens in need.

Shop with a Cop Raffle
Century 21 Woodland donated a 19” flat screen TV as a raffle prize in order to raise funds for the Carroll County Shop with a Cop program. The agents began selling tickets from our booth at the Carroll County Fair in September, and continued selling them until the drawing on December 1st. Carroll County Sheriff, Bob Grudek (husband of one of our own agents!), came to the office to draw the winning ticket, and award the TV. Carol Friesen, owner of Tummy Ticklers in downtown Eureka Springs, was the lucky winner. Shop with a Cop was widely supported in the county, with various fund raisers generating total of nearly $10,000 for the program. This year, the Sheriff's Department was able to take 83 children shopping for Christmas presents for themselves and their families. They also purchased gifts for area nursing home residents who would otherwise have received none.

Chili Cook-off
Century 21 Woodland took a 3rd place prize in the first ESCC Board of Realtors Chili Cook-off, a fund raiser for Habitat for Humanity. The event was held at the Artists Colony on N Main in downtown Eureka Springs. Area real estate offices and local banks competed to see which office had the best chili recipe. Despite the warm, distinctly “un-chili” weather, the event was a great success, raising $1500 for the Carroll County chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Century 21 International Convention 2007
Diane Murphy and Pam Grudek attended the Century 21 International Convention in Las Vegas during February 07. The convention provides 3 days of opportunity for additional training, networking, and celebrating the year’s success. The year’s theme “Go for the Gold” was embraced enthusiastically – and epitomized in the reintroduction of the trademark Century 21 gold jacket.

Carroll County Fair
Our booth at the Carroll County fair allowed us to share real estate information and get to know more of our neighbors on the eastern side of the county. We also began our sale of raffle tickets for our Shop with a Cop fundraiser.
