Why Home Staging?

       The way we live in a home and the way we market and sell a home are very different. We all decorate our homes to suit our personal taste, and surround ourselves with things that are meaningful to us. When it’s time to sell, however, your house becomes more of a commodity and less your home, with the goal of maximizing the profit on your investment. Home staging involves pre-packing, de-personalizing, and highlighting the best features of each room.

       Two of our agents, Karen Kinsel and Diane Murphy, are Accredited Staging Professionals and can help you stage your home when you list your property with us. We help you identify the profile of your most likely buyer, then come up with a staging plan that will most appeal to that buyer group. Staging services are free to our clients.
